BT Sport has cemented its position as the UK home of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League today, after winning co-exclusive* on demand online and mobile clip rights to all 350 matches per season.

The addition of clips rights means that fans need not worry about missing any of the vital moments from matches.”

BT Sport already has a strong digital following with the BT Sport App proving to be a great success with customers. The App has already been downloaded more than a million times and, whilst many of those can also watch via their TVs; there are hundreds of thousands of people who are choosing to watch exclusively online.

From 2015/16 BT Sport will be the new UK home of live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League football, after a tender process in which BT won the exclusive live broadcast rights to all 350 matches from both tournaments.

BT has more than two million customers who take BT Sport and the channels reach around four million homes when BT’s wholesale deal with Virgin Media is taken into account.

BT Sport is the home for top European league football, showing regular live matches from Germany's Bundesliga, France's Ligue1 and Italy's Serie A. This means many of the stars who will feature in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will already be familiar to BT Sport viewers.
