BT today announced that it has received the highest scores in three out of the four use cases evaluated in the 2017 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Network Services, Pan-European, report.

The report’s publication comes only one month after BT was positioned by Gartner, Inc, as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global for the 13th consecutive time. The Critical Capabilities report accompanies the February 2017 Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global. However, compared to the Magic Quadrant, which also assesses providers' completeness of vision and ability to execute, this report is focused solely on providers' current capabilities.

BT believes that the findings will provide valuable insight for its existing and prospective customers considering which network services provider to choose when developing their digital transformation strategies.

Luis Alvarez, CEO of BT’s global services division, said: “I am proud of our performance reflected in the findings of this latest report. We feel that it reflects the way we support our customers in Europe, our Cloud Connect capabilities, our virtualised security and WAN optimisation services and importantly the strength of our new managed SD-WAN services.”

“We have made improvements to the key processes used to serve and enhance our overall customer experience as well as launched rapid deployment for 3G/4G in 28 countries. We continue to advance our strengths with our ongoing investment in our Cloud of Clouds portfolio strategy.”
