BT Sport offers up bumper festive season clashes

BT Sport viewers will have plenty of Christmas cheer over the festive season with seven exciting top flight fixtures to be shown exclusively live on BT Sport in December and over the New Year weekend.

Manchester United’s clash against London rivals Chelsea headlines a line-up of matches involving the Barclays Premier League big four as well as fixtures involving those battling for European places.

With the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League - both shown exclusively live on BT Sport channels - nearing the mid-season break, current league leaders Manchester City will kick off the Barclays Premier League coverage on BT Sport in December with a 12:45 kick-off away to Stoke City on 5 December.

The following Saturday - 12 December -sees Norwich City host Everton at Carrow Road with the home side looking to build on their start to the season now they are back in the top division.

Newcastle United versus Everton then gets the bumper festive season underway on BT Sport with a 17:30 kick-off at St James’ Park on Boxing Day, immediately followed by a 19:45 evening match between Southampton and Arsenal on the same day.

With the fixtures coming thick and fast, a titanic clash between Manchester United and Chelsea takes place at 17:30 on Monday 28 December. This match, to be played at Old Trafford, will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport.

The following day sees another match with Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City hosting Manchester City at 19:45 with the away side hoping they can regain the Barclays Premier League title this season after relinquishing it last season to Chelsea.

The final match of the jam-packed festive season on BT Sport sees West Ham United hoping to do the double over Liverpool this season at Upton Park at 12:45 on Saturday 2 January 2016.
