BT Sport reveals packed month of football fixtures for April

A top of the table clash between Premier League challengers Chelsea and Manchester City highlights a busy month of football ahead across four major competitions live on BT Sport.

A busy April begins with a local derby as Southampton host Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth on the south coast on Saturday 1 April at 5.30pm.

With games coming thick and fast, the following Tuesday 4 April will see Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s men hope to make it to the top four to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

The next evening will see a mouth-watering top of the table clash between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge with Premier League leaders Chelsea looking to consolidate their position at the top when they take on Pep Guardiola’s side.

Antonio Conte’s men will be on BT Sport screens once again on Saturday 8 April, when they travel to Bournemouth for a 5.30pm kick off.

On Saturday 15 April, BT Sport cameras will be back in Southampton to show Claude Puel’s team taking on Manchester City with both hoping to build momentum as the Premier League season enters the home straight.

The Emirates FA Cup then takes centre stage as Wembley plays host to the semi-finals, with one game shown on BT Sport.

The end of the month will see Crystal Palace hope to hit form as they try to fight off relegation against Burnley at Selhurst Park at 5.30pm on Saturday 29 April. The final match of the month on BT Sport will see Manchester United host Swansea City for a midday kick-off at Old Trafford on Sunday 30 April.

April will also see the quarter finals of both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League as Europe’s top clubs continue to fight it out to make the respective finals of the major European competitions.
