BT Sport showcase to broadcast two vital UEFA Champions League and Europa League games

Two vital group stage matches between PSV Eindhoven and CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League and Fenerbahçe v Celtic in the UEFA Europa League will be broadcast for free next week on the BT Sport Showcase Freeview Channel.

Dutch side PSV Eindhoven’s clash at home against the Russians in a crucial match could affect Manchester United’s qualification from the group stage. If the Dutch champions win their final group stage match then Manchester United must beat Wolfsburg away in Germany to qualify. The match kicks off at 19:45 on Tuesday, 8 December.

Thursday, 10 December 10, sees Scottish champions Celtic travel to Turkey for their match against Fenerbahçe featuring former Premier League stars Robin Van Persie and Nani. The match, kicking off at 18:00, sees the home side needing to avoid defeat to qualify. Ajax host the already qualified Norwegian side Molde at the Amsterdam Arena the same night and can qualify with a victory if Celtic also win in Turkey.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “The final games of the group stages in European competition are always a vital and exciting time for teams and fans alike. BT Sport will give everyone the opportunity to watch these crucial UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League games exclusively live.”

BT Sport is the only place to watch all of the 351 exclusively live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches. BT has said it will show at least 12 UEFA Champions League matches and 14 UEFA Europa League ties live on BT Sport Showcase, where everyone can enjoy the action for free.
