BT Sport will show live coverage of Liverpool’s home match against fellow Premier League title challengers Arsenal as the highlight of a busy schedule of top quality football in March across four major competitions.

As well as chasing Chelsea for the title, both teams will be looking to secure qualification for a UEFA Champions League place as the season draws towards its conclusion.

BT Sport will show live coverage of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United who are also chasing a UEFA Champions League place in their away game at the Riverside against Middlesbrough on Sunday, March 19, as part of a dual-game weekend, and which will also feature Bournemouth v Swansea the day before.

As well as the domestic Premier league fixtures in March, BT Sport viewers will also enjoy full coverage of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and key games from the Emirates FA Cup.

On March 7, BT Sport will feature live and exclusive coverage of Arsenal’s decisive second leg Champions League tie against the mighty Bayern Munich at the Emirates stadium, as the Gunners seek to overcome their recent inability to get past the last 16.

A week later, Leicester City will seek to extend their fairytale progress by defeating Sevilla at the same stage of the competition. And Manchester City will also be shown live the next day on BT Sport, away at Monaco.

In the UEFA Europa League, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United may well still be battling for glory in the round of 16, which will be shown live on March 9 and 16.

The second weekend in March is Emirates FA Cup time and BT Sport will be showing two live quarter-final games as the competition reaches a pivotal stage.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “We’ve got some terrific live matches in March, a month that will certainly have an impact on the destiny of four trophies at the end of the season.

“As well as the Premier League we’ll be following three British teams still in the UEFA Champions League and there could be two still battling for the UEFA Europa League all alongside the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals.”
