BT Sport's exclusive Christmas and New Year Premier League action

BT Sport viewers will have plenty of festive fun football to watch this Christmas and New Year including the headline match from the short festive period when Liverpool host Manchester City, with a further eleven top quality Premier League fixtures to be shown in December and at the start of the new football year.

The match at Anfield headlines a line-up of high profile matches involving the Premier Leagues elite including those battling it out to win the competition and qualify for the much coveted European places.

With the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League reaching the end of the group stages and both shown exclusively live on BT Sport, December’s Premier League action will kick off with West Ham United hosting Arsenal for the first time at the London Stadium on Saturday 3 December, with a 5.30pm kick off.

The following week will see champions Leicester City host Manchester City on Saturday 10 December and West Bromwich Albion travel to Chelsea the next day for a midday kick off on Sunday 11 December.

With the games coming thick and fast in the lead up to Christmas, BT Sport will be showing midweek games with European contenders Everton taking on Arsenal for a 7.45pm kick off on Tuesday 13 December. The following night at Selhurst Park sees Crystal Palace play Manchester United for an 8pm kick off. Manchester United will once again play in front of BT Sport cameras as they travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 17 December for a 5.30pm kick off.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are at Anfield to take on Liverpool for what looks like being the biggest grudge match in the Premier League over the festive period on New Year’s Eve with a 5.30pm kick off in a game that will also see Raheem Sterling return to his old stomping ground.

In the New Year BT Sport will then turn its attention to the FA Cup third round before returning to Premier League action with Leicester City taking on Chelsea at home on Saturday, 14 January at 5.30pm.

Saturday 21 January sees a feast of football as Liverpool take on Swansea City at 12.30pm before Manchester City play against the only team to have beaten them so far this season, Tottenham Hotspur, at the Etihad Stadium at 5.30pm.

BT Sport’s final two games of the period see the mouth-watering clash of Liverpool v Chelsea on Tuesday 31 January for an 8pm kick off, before West Ham United hosting Manchester City the following day at 7.45pm.
