BT Sport’s exclusively live January Barclays premier league fixtures feature Liverpool v Everton and Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City

BT Sport’s newly-confirmed live Barclays Premier League games in January will include the second of this season’s Merseyside derbies from Anfield on the evening of Tuesday January 28. The following day, BT Sport brings viewers a mouth-watering match between title hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City on Wednesday January 29. These matches add to a strong line-up of live football on BT Sport in January, including seven matches from the FA Cup with Budweiser Third and Fourth Rounds.

BT Sport kicks off 2014 on New Year’s Day with the already announced double header of Southampton against Chelsea at 3pm followed by Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur at 5.30pm. This is followed by a lunchtime kick off on January 18 with Sunderland v Southampton, both managed by South Americans in the shape of Sunderland’s Gus Poyet and Southampton’s Mauricio Pochettino.
Midweek coverage of the Merseyside derby on BT Sport on January 28 is always eagerly anticipated especially with both sides among the form sides this season.

On January 29, BT Sport brings fans exclusively live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City. In the corresponding fixture at White Hart Lane last season, Villas-Boas’ men ran out 3-1 winners. Samir Nasri had given City the lead after five minutes, but with just 15 minutes left, three goals in seven minutes from Dempsey, Defoe and Bale gave Spurs victory.
