Football fans will be able to watch last season’s UEFA Champions League finalists Juventus clash with Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich on BT Sport’s Showcase Freeview TV channel, later this month.

The Italian giants will host the Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, who hope to take home Europe’s most coveted trophy before their manager Pep Guardiola leaves for Manchester City at the end of the season. Kick off for the first knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League will be at 7:45pm on Tuesday, 23 February, at Juventus Stadium in Turin.

BT Sport Showcase will also show a UEFA Europa League double header in February. First up will be former German champions Borussia Dortmund against FC Porto in a 6pm kick off on Thursday, 18 February. Gary Neville’s Valencia will host Rapid Vienna later that night at 8pm.

All these matches form part of BT Sport’s February coverage, which also includes exclusively live Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round matches during the weekend of 20-21 February. BT Sport channels will also broadcast five matches from the Barclays Premier League throughout the month, including the clash between relegation threatened Sunderland v Manchester United on Saturday, 13 February at 12:45pm.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League knockout stages highlight where the season is now heading with real silverware to be won. It’s great to be able to give Freeview viewers the opportunity to experience BT Sport’s exclusively live coverage of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League on BT Sport Showcase.”

BT Sport is the only place to watch all of the 351 exclusively live UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches. At least 12 UEFA Champions League matches and 14 UEFA Europa League ties will also be shown live on BT Sport Showcase during the season.
