When kids meet PAW Patrol puppies

To celebrate an awesome summer of kids’ entertainment on BT TV, BT gave a group of unsuspecting children the surprise of their lives when they introduced them to the real-life PAW Patrol puppies.

BT invited children (ranging from two to eight years old) to the BT Sport Studios, Stratford for an afternoon of fun and games playing with PAW Patrol toys. Little did the kids know that their day would be turned upside down with the arrival of some adorable four-legged friends dressed up as their favourite characters from Nick Jr.’s PAW Patrol. BT captured their candid responses when the twelve-week-old puppies joined the kids at playtime – from excited faces to the downright bemused.

Some of the kids were over joyed with the arrival of their furry friends and welcomed Rubble, Chase and the gang with surprised expressions, big hugs and cries of “A dog, a dog, look a doggy, oh wow they’re adorable!”. However some puzzled kids looked at real-life Marshall, Skye and the rest of the PAW Patrol troop with bafflement, before turning straight back to the game they were playing with and saying, “Why aren’t those dogs talking?”.

Some children had a slightly slower reaction to the real-life gang however, as they turned their attention immediately back to the toys after spotting the puppies.

Brand new episodes of PAW Patrol will air on Nick Jr. from September, starting with an underwater sea patrol special on Monday 4th.

BT TV has an incredible mix of nine children’s channels including Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Disney, and Cartoon Network. Children can watch the latest episodes of their favourite shows and enjoy more than 2,000 episodes a month of kids’ entertainment on demand.
