New BT customers to receive six months free BT Infinity superfast broadband

Infinity 1 free for first 6 months, then £15 monthly* 
Consumers are set to benefit from even cheaper superfast fibre optic broadband after BT announced today it is to offer BT Infinity 1 for free for the first six months of their contract. Offering up to five times faster broadband, BT Infinity also comes with free BT Sport, and a range of other services, including unlimited BT Wi-fi, BT Parental Controls and a BT Home Hub 5. 

The BT Infinity 1 deal offers speeds of up to 38Mbps**, with a 20Gb usage limit on an 18 month contract. For new customers wishing to combine fibre optic broadband with BT TV, BT is also offering BT Infinity + TV including 20 Entertainment channels, for £5 per month for 6 months, then £22.45 a month for the remainder of the 18 month contract. 

David McDonald, Director of Broadband, TV & Sport Bundles, BT Consumer, said: “Consumers have been given another broadband boost today, with the launch of BT Infinity 1, free fibre optic for the first 6 months. BT Infinity lets you do more of the things you like online, all at the same time as other people in your home. These deals not only offer a fabulous broadband experience but when combined with free BT Sport also offer amazing value.” 

The BT Infinity deals are part of a range of new broadband packages including an entry level copper BT broadband package for £4 a month for the first 6 months, then £10 a month for the remainder of the 18 month contract. This includes a 10Gb usage limit, free BT Sport, unlimited BT Wi-Fi and a BT Home Hub 4.
